BUILDING LAMPS THAT SURPASS EXPECTATIONS

ARC is one of the leading designers and manufacturers of custom, semi-custom, and production gas discharge lamps. We manufacture high intensity mercury, xenon, mercury-xenon, krypton and xenon flashlamps. Because all necessary parts, assemblies and processing are produced in-house, ARC can assure quick response for custom lamp development, as well as high volume production of standard lamps.

Our expertise are based on many years of design and fabrication of advanced light sources for the government, industry, and educational institutions. Since its inception in 1971, ARC has been a leader in developing and manufacturing high quality, high reliability, and fairly priced lamps and ultraviolet radiation sources.

Founded in Campbell, California, ARC moved to Santa Clara in 1977. Today our services customers in the Printed Circuit Board, Laser, UV-Curing, Medical and Electronic Industries. With a reputation for integrity and an understanding of light and lamp performance, ARC has been instrumental in new and improved UV radiation sources for most of the U.S. Semi-conductor equipment manufacturers.

In Addition to the lamps listed in the catalogue, ARC manufactures other mercury, xenon, and mercury-xenon high performance lamps for laser and other electro-optical systems. Each lamp is optimized for spectral efficiency, operating life, ans system mechanical and optical interfacing. In addition to our standard lines of high intensity arc lamps, ARC designs and manufactures special lamps for new applications. We invite your inquiries and will provide application assistance.

100 Watt Mercury Short Arc Lamp
Uses: The 100 watt short arc lamp is the brightest source of ultraviolet radiation in the world. It is a perfect source of UV radiation for photochemistry, UV curing, spectroscopy, microscope illumination, optical instrumentation and scientific application.
200 Watt Mercury Short Arc Lamp
Uses: The 200 watt short arc lamp emits high intensity UV radiation, which occur at wavelengths 305, 365, 405 and 436nm (nanometers). It's applications are photoresist exposure, photochemistry, micro-film enlargement, optical instrumentation and wafer inspection.
350 Watt Short Arc Lamp
Uses: The mercury short arc lamp's point source configuration makes it ideally suited for a collimating light. The 350 watt lamp is used for photoresist exposure, photochemistry, micro-film enlargement, optical instrumentation and wafer inspection.
450 Watt Short Arc Lamp
Uses: The mercury short arc lamps produce intense radiation by an electric gas discharge, in which the mercury atoms are excited into a plasma. The 450 watt lamp is used for photoresist exposure, oscillograph illumination, step and repeat cameras and other scientific applications.
3.5 & 5 Kilowatt Mercury Short Arc Lamps
Uses: The high wattage mercury short arc lamps are a great source of high intensity radiation for very large surface area exposures. The 3.5 and 5 kilowatt lamps are used for photoresist exposure, precision metal etch, printed circuit board and flat panel display fabrication.
20 Watt Xenon Short Arc Lamp
Uses: The xenon short arc lamp's plasma produces a 5800 k color temperature. The 20 watt xenon short arc lamp is ideally suited for machine vision, medical and scientific applications, fiber optic illumination and other optical instrumentation.
1000 Watt Xenon Short Arc Lamp
Uses: This high power, white light, point source lamp is used for solar simulation, movie theater projectors, flight simulators, searchlights, inspection and optical instrumentation.
Deep Ultraviolet Short Arc Lamp
Uses: The deep ultraviolet radiation is produced by a mercury-xenon plasma. The exact concentration of mercury-xenon must be carefully controlled during lamp manufacturing to obtain the maximum input power to output radiation conversion. The deep ultraviolet short arc lamps are used for photoresist stabilization, and photolithography.
Linear Capillary Lamp
Uses: The richness of spectral emission from the short UV through the visible and into the near infrared, makes the mercury capillary lamp ideal for many laboratory applications. The simplicity of design and construction makes this class of lamps the lowest price, cost-per-watt, high intensity source available.
Bent Capillary Lamp
Uses: These bent capillary lamps were designed by Advanced Radiation Corporation for Perkin Elmer Corp. (SVG). The lamps are used on SVG's projection mask aligner model number 100, 200, 300, 340, 500, 600 and 700. The capillary lamp is an ideal source for projection lithography and photochemistry.
High Pressure Mercury Capillary Lamps
Uses: printed circuit boards, photoresist exposure, projection printing, photochemistry, biological, medical, and therapeutic applications.
